Frequently Asked Questions

  • What style of yoga do you teach?

I teach gentle, accessible yoga that focuses on functional movement with breath awareness, restorative yoga, meditation & yoga philosophy. We use props to offer various ways of experiencing different movements and postures, making yoga accessible to everyone regardless of ability or experience.

Do I need to be flexible or experienced to join your classes?

Not at all! My classes are designed to be inclusive and accessible, from complete beginners to experienced practitioners. I offer variations and use props to help you find the right option for your body, some people use a chair to participate in the practice; physical limitations do not mean that you wont get the same from your practice. There’s always an alternative way and that’s one of my favourite things to explore!

  • Where are your classes?

I offer group classes in Northwich and Comberbach in Cheshire.

How do I book an in-person class?

You can view the schedule and book through the In-person group classes page on the website, or contact me directly.

I’m not very good at yoga so I feel nervous about attending a class, can you save me a place at the back?

Of course! There’s no such thing as bad at yoga.. however I will do my best to ensure you feel at ease. Please let me know beforehand any concerns at all that you have which may prevent you from booking the class. Whether it’s saving a certain place in the room or meeting any additional needs to ensure you feel comfortable - I want to ensure you feel like you belong.

    Do you offer drop-in?

I don’t offer drop-in classes as the weekly in-person classes are very popular and always book up. They run as a six week block and within this time we focus on one theme with different movements. Each block brings a new theme. If you prefer a one off experience, the events may be more suitable.

    What should I wear?

Wear comfortable, breathable clothing that allows you to move freely. It really isn’t about how you look but how you feel .. and comfort is key!

    What should I bring?

Bring a yoga mat, comfortable clothing you can move in, a blanket or two for comfort and support and any props you may have. Props like blocks, belts and bolsters can be provided with notice.

  • How long are the online classes?

Online classes are 30 minutes long, making them easy to fit into your day.

Can I watch the class again after it’s finished?

Yes! You’ll have 30 day access to replay each online class, so you can practice at a time that suits you or revisit the session multiple times.

What do I need for online classes?

You’ll need a stable internet connection, connection to a Facebook account - where the live classes are broadcast. A device to watch the class, a comfortable space to practice and any props you have available (though I always suggest household items that can work as substitutes).

  • What’s the difference between one-to-one and private classes?

One-to-one classes are individual sessions tailored specifically to your needs, goals and ability. Private classes can be for small groups (friends, family, colleagues) and are customised for your group. The range varies from helping with back pain, complementing professional football.. and I have even curated a four week online course for a group of motorcyclists!

Are private classes available online or in-person?

Both! I offer private and one-to-one classes either online or in-person, depending on your preference and location.

How do I arrange a private session?

Contact me directly at wildappleyoga@outlook.com or 07922534076 for a consultation before scheduling a session.

  • What does corporate yoga involve?

I offer yoga and meditation sessions designed for the workplace to promote health and wellbeing among employees. Sessions can help reduce stress, improve focus and support overall physical and mental health.

Can corporate yoga be held at our office?

Yes, I can come to your workplace or offer online sessions depending on your preferences and setup.

  • What types of retreats do you offer?

I offer weekend retreats, half day retreats and mini morning retreats - sometimes including a soundbath as part of the experience. The retreats provide an opportunity to deepen your practice and take time for self-care and reflection. Encouragement to slow down, unplug and remember what’s important.

How can I find out about upcoming retreats?

Check the Retreats & Events page on the website or sign up for my email newsletter to be the first to receive updates about upcoming retreats and events.

Can I attend alone or should I bring a friend?

Both! Many people attend solo and find it a great way to meet like-minded people. Others enjoy sharing the experience with a friend or family member. Either way, you’ll be warmly welcomed!
